Региональная Британская Выставка Образования
Education UK and British Council Russia began organising Education UK Exhibitions in Moscow nine years ago. In 2003 regional British Education Exhibitions have been taking place before and after the main Education UK exhibition in Moscow for the first time. During last 5 years citizens of Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, St Petersburg and Yekaterinburg were able to receive first-hand information on educational programmes offered by British education institutions – boarding schools, universities, colleges, language centres, institutions of further education, etc. Advantages of British education are more understandable for many Russian people now and United Kingdom became one of the most popular destinations for studying abroad. We are glad to note that now every 3rd Russian student studied abroad is a student of British education institution.
Regional British Education Exhibitions became traditional events for Russia and this year this tradition must go on. In 2008 Regional British Education Exhibitions will be held in Yekaterinburg and St Petersburg. The British education institutions will have a unique opportunity to evaluate personally the Russian education market from the Baltic Sea to the Ural Mountains. This is ideal for meeting prospective students and their parents face-to-face, providing young Russians with information first-hand on study opportunities in the UK and to creating links and begin co-operation with educational agents and Russian educational institutions.
